SIGWP is a special interest group on Wikipedia mining originaly founded by School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka-Univ., Japan. Since Wikipedia has various impressive characteristics such as dense link structure and URI identification for concepts, the conviction that Wikipedia is a notable Web corpus for knowledge extraction has been strongly confirmed.
